Terms and policies for using SQLPad services, including subscriptions and AI tools.

1. Cancellation and Refund Policy

1.0 Monthly/Quarterly subscriptions

Once your subscription starts you cannot get a refund for payments already made.

If you do not want to subscribe anymore, visit your user dashboard and cancel your subscription from the Stripe customer portal.

You retain access until the end of the current paid period.

1.1 One-time purchases

We cannot refund one-time purchases including, but not limited to, eBook products and bundle products.

2. Terms

By accessing https://www.sqlpad.io, you agree to be bound by these terms, all applicable laws and regulations, and confirm you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.

If you do not agree with these terms, you are prohibited from using this site. Materials on this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

3. Use License

  1. Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is a license grant, not a transfer of title. Under this license you may not:
    1. modify or copy the materials;
    2. use the materials for commercial purposes or public display;
    3. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer software on SQLPad;
    4. remove copyright or proprietary notices;
    5. transfer the materials to another person or mirror them on another server.
  2. This license terminates automatically if you violate any restriction and may be terminated by SQLPad at any time. Upon termination, you must destroy downloaded materials in your possession.

4. Disclaimer

  1. Materials on SQLPad are provided on an "as is" basis. SQLPad disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  2. SQLPad does not warrant or make representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of site materials.

5. Limitations

In no event shall SQLPad or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including damages for loss of data, profit, or business interruption) arising out of use or inability to use site materials, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.

SQLPad has not reviewed all linked sites and is not responsible for their contents. Inclusion of links does not imply endorsement. Use linked websites at your own risk.

8. Customer Data

Customer grants SQLPad a license to use, copy, transmit, modify, and process Customer Data solely to enable use of SQLPad services. Customers may request data removal at any time.

9. Modifications

SQLPad may revise these terms at any time without notice. By using this website, you agree to the current version of these terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of California. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of California courts.

11. Mock Interview Service Terms

This section governs SQLPad AI Mock Interview services, including generated text/audio/video data.

  • Data ownership: User retains ownership of data generated while using the service.
  • User consent: User consents to collection, storage, and processing for service operation and research/improvement.
  • Data use: SQLPad may use data to improve services and will not sell/license user data to third parties without prior consent.
  • Data privacy: SQLPad will comply with applicable privacy laws and apply reasonable safeguards.
  • Restrictions: Full mock interview sessions must not be recorded, reproduced, or redistributed in violation of policy.
  • Termination: Users may terminate by discontinuing use; SQLPad may terminate for violations.
  • Indemnification: User agrees to indemnify SQLPad and affiliates for claims arising from user misuse.

12. Resume and AI Writing Service Terms

This section governs SQLPad AI writing and resume optimization features.

  • Data ownership: User retains ownership of generated data.
  • User consent: User consents to collection and processing for operation and improvement.
  • Data use: SQLPad may use data for research and service improvement, and does not sell data without consent.
  • Service results: AI-generated outputs are for personal use and should not be redistributed without consent.
  • Service limitations: AI outputs may contain errors; user is responsible for review and verification.
  • Termination/indemnification/governing law: same principles apply as above.
